International award to ACCA Software,
I Building SMART International Awards are awards to companies that have developed Open BIM solutions for design, the design, construction and resource management in the construction field, acknowledging the work done on real projects.
ACCA software, standard member di buildingSMART international, won first prize in the Professional Research category with the project “Structural E-Permit“, surpassing other prestigious finalists (National University of Singapore - "IFC2CityGML", Singular AG – “Singular Model Checker”, Technical University of Munich – “Multi-LOD Requirements Manager”).
The technicians of the ALMA company in Rende were also present at the award ceremony (CS), part of the ACCA group.
Structural E-permit is a research project to develop an Open BIM model with all the information necessary for a competent authority to issue a permit / qualification, conveying information through open and standard formats, with the possibility of automatic checks on the presence and consistency of the information present in the model. For example, a Civil Engineer could issue a seismic authorization with the support of automatic checks on seismic checks.
The Summit 2019 in Beijing brought together BIM experts from around the world and hundreds of companies, Chinese and non-Chinese, related to BIM, allowing them to deepen the issues related to Open BIM workflows and advanced digital technologies.
