Yes, it took place in Trieste on 7 e 8 November the Annual Review Meeting between the European Commission and the central and local Managing Authorities to investigate the state of implementation and progress of the expenditure of the National and Regional Operational Programs co-financed by the ESI Funds 2014-2020.
PVC Upcycling presented as a good practice in communicating the results of EU funds.
The meeting also showed an increasing attention to the communication and relations with citizens through the media and the guidelines on the next programming were discussed 2021-2027.
In terms of communication, the experience of REDEL SRL's PVC Upcycling research and development project was accepted, proposal of the Calabria Region for the space dedicated to good practices.
The PVC UpCycling project aims to introduce a circular economy model in the company through the recovery of PVC from electrical cables from the decommissioning of energy plants (“demanufacturing”) and the reuse of the same PVC in products with low environmental impact (“re-manufacturing”).
