The professor. Corrado Trombetta witness of the BFL at FIDEC 2019
The prof. Corrado Trombetta, teacher of to give you (Department of Architecture and Territory of the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria) and promoter of the Building Future Lab was selected as one of the “Witnesses to the Future” of the ANCE for the “Speakers’ Corner” of FIDEC 2019 (Italian Construction Forum) titled “Live the Experience of the Future of the construction sector” which will be held at the Ice Palace in Milan il 19 e 20 November.
The professor. Trombetta will present the story “BUILDING FUTURE LAB: the future of construction or the building of the future”.
The BFL is an applied research laboratory, permanent and interdisciplinary, which is divided into different “sections” offers certification and testing services in the construction sector.
I offered services they are based on Trial and Testing activities which are implemented according to regulated protocols (es: UNI / EN, ASTM, AAMA, ecc.) or experimental. Beyond these, BFL offers Prototyping services, Modeling, Diagnostics (invasive and non-invasive), relevance at large and small territorial scales, material characterization, structural seismic verification, verification of constructions in off-shore environments, energy feasibility according to Renewable Energy Sources, from solar to wave motion.
BFL collaborates with European companies, Asian and American companies in the advanced building envelope supply chain of which Made in Italy is the leader. Conducted tests, according to US standards, for multinationals that create complex buildings. Especially skyscrapers, in every area of the world.
The large Test Chamber is a patented technological jewel where research and development and new products are carried out, such as the Smart Door or Intonaco Natura (entirely natural, made with infusions of plants such as carob).
Building Future Lab is the result of an active policy of the European Union and the MiUR. BFL is associated with the Green HoMe Innovation Hub.
