The MISE has published 5 tenders for the enhancement of patents, brand names, designs and technology transfer.
The Ministry of Economic Development has published five notices for the valorization of patents, brand names, designs and for the technological transfer of research and development activities. The available financial resources are approximately 50 million euros.
Three tenders are intended for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
Notice of Patents+: The incentive is recognized for the purchase of specialist services aimed at the economic enhancement of a patent in terms of profitability, productivity and market development. In particular, services intended for are eligible: Industrialization and engineering; Organization and development; Technology transfer.
- Endowment: They are destined for the ban 21,8 million euros, managed by Invitalia. The 15% of resources is reserved for innovative startups.
- Discounts: The granting of a capital allowance is envisaged, in compliance with the rule of de minimis, of a maximum value of € 140.000.
- Door opening: Applications can be submitted from the 30 January 2020 and until resources are exhausted.

Call for drawings +4: The incentive is recognized for the purchase of specialist services aimed at valorising single or multiple designs and models registered starting from 1 January 2018. In particular, Facilitating services are eligible: the putting into production of new products related to a registered design/model (Phase 1 – Production); the marketing of a registered design/model (Phase 2 - Marketing).
- Endowment: The resources available for the implementation of the measure amount to a total of 13 million euros, managed by Unioncamere.
- Concessions: The benefits are granted up to a maximum of 80% of eligible expenses, in compliance with the rule of de minimis, and in any case for a maximum amount not exceeding 75.000 euro.
- Door opening: Applications can be submitted from the 27 February 2020 and until resources are exhausted.

Notice of Trademarks +3: The incentive is recognized for the purchase of specialist services aimed at registering European trademarks and international trademarks. In particular, expenses incurred for the design of the new brand are eligible (national, European, international), prior art searches and assistance with filing, assistance for brand acquisition or licensing, filing fees, ecc.
- Endowment: The resources available for the implementation of the measure amount to a total of 3,5 million euros, managed by Unioncamere.
This allocation will be used i) to finance the proposals already presented in 2019 and not financed due to exhaustion of resources; ii) to finance new applications that may be submitted by 30 march 2020 and until resources are exhausted. - Facilitation: The benefit can cover 80% of the eligible expenses actually incurred up to a maximum of 15.000 euro.

In the end two more tenders are dedicated to universities and public research bodies for projects to strengthen technology transfer offices (UTT) e per progetti Proof of Concept (PoC) intended for the valorization of patents.
