Webinar organized by the European Alliance Against Coronavirus with the contribution of Green HoMe
Green Home s.c.ar.l and Océane Peiffer-Smadja of DG GROW (European Commission) are the main speakers of the webinar organized by European Alliance Against Coronavirus (EAAC) on the topic sustainable building and renovation held on Tuesday 23 march.
During the meeting, Océane Peiffer-Smadja illustrated the theme “Renovation Wave & Affordable housing initiative” inquandrondolo nel contesto della “Renovation Wave” with a focus on energy poverty and low energy performance buildings, renovation of public buildings including social housing and decarbonisation of heating and air conditioning, promoting the adoption of an integrated approach at a technological level e “human centered” and developed at the district level for economies of scale and new business opportunities which must be supported by a cross partnership between the construction sector, il social housing, public institutions, supporting innovation and experimentation (presentation)
Green HoMe presented the experience gained in two years of activity with particular reference to the development of innovation projects, the development of environmental certification services (EPDs in particular) and the promotion of access to the superbonus 110% (presentation) for the redevelopment of buildings characterized by elements of innovation.
The EAAC, in the February-March period 2021, organized meetings twice a week, developing the issues related to the EU Industry Week 2021, Europe's flagship annual event on industry and the sector's main challenges in the context of co-development opportunities and inclusive dialogue with a wide range of partners. The details of the topics addressed during the two-month period concern:
- any urgent issues relating to the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic
- the role of clusters and the collaborative approach to new EU initiatives
- new tenders and funding opportunities
- good practices and activities of clusters in industrial ecosystems and their potential recovery
- intersectoral and interdisciplinary collaborations
