New MIMIT call for research and development projects for companies in Southern Italy

The desk for submitting project proposals opens at 10:00 of the 10 July 2024 and will remain open until the allocated funds are exhausted.

The Ministry of Business and Made in Italy (Mimi) has published a new call to support research and development projectsl Midday, made, in particular, in less developed regions (Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily).

The projects , for which they are required eligible expenses and costs not less than 3 million euros and not exceeding 20 million euros, must relate industrial research activities e experimental development of strategic importance for the production system, consistently with the thematic areas of the National smart specialization strategy and with particular regard to development of the following key enabling technologies:

  • advanced materials and nanotechnology;
  • photonics and micro/nano electronics;
  • advanced production systems;
  • life science technologies;
  • artificial intelligence;
  • digital connection and security.

Industrial research and experimental development activities must be aimed at creating new products, processes or services o al notable improvement of products, existing processes or services.

They can participate in the tender businesses of any size who carry out industrial activities, agroindustriali, artisans, of services to industry e research centers, in single or joint mode.

Lo door to present project proposals opens at ore 10:00 of the 10 July 2024 and will remain open until the allocated funds are exhausted. For those interested, the procedure for completing the application for relief and the additional attached documentation will be available starting from 25 June 2024.
