8 September 2022, Old Calabria Torre Camigliati, Camigliatello Silano (CS)
The 14 April 2022, with the support of Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies, an association between public and private forest owners is born ( SILAB2 – Innovative system for the advanced local enhancement of woods and villages) aimed at applying a model of local development of the inland areas of Calabria based on the enhancement of wood as a support for the new alliance between woods and villages, between agriculture and digital. SILAB2 involves:
- circa 10.000 hectares of forests;
- 30 public and private participants (growing, having regard to the requests for membership);
- 5 sponsoring bodies (Calabria Region, Sila National Park, Italian Forestry Association, Regional Company for the Development of Calabrian Agriculture, Province of Cosenza);
- 3 highly qualified suppliers (I.W.T. Iavarone Wood Technology, Green Home s.c.ar.l., NTT Data Italia).
The launch event of the project is scheduled for a day 8 September 2022 in Camigliatello Silano, inside Old Calabria Torre Camigliati. The speakers, prominent representatives of the partnership, they will illustrate the activities foreseen by the project and the technical-scientific progress.

Participation is free and allows the acquisition of 2 CFP for members of the Order of Architects of the province of Cosenza.
Part of the content that will animate the technical table will be developed the following days as part of the Summer School “Design of wooden structures”, to be held in days 9-11 September 2022 in the same location.
